BATE leading 2017 Belarus Premier League table ahead of last matchday

BATE beat Neman 3:1 (Signevich, 58, Rodionov, 78, Gordeychuk, 87 - Zhukovsky, 13 (p)) in the penultimate match of the 2017 Belarus Premier League.

Shakhtyor, who was in the lead before, lost at home to Torpedo-BelAZ 1:2 (Kish, 80 - Skavysh, 5, Oganesyan, 64) and is now 2 points behind the Borisov club. Soligorsk were overtaken by Dinamo Minsk, who defeated Krumkachy 1:0 (Khvaschinsky, 55).

BATE's second goal against Neman caused controversy among Belarusian fans, who think Rodionov used his hand to score (please watch the video).

Top team standings: BATE - 67 points (goal difference 58-16), Dinamo Mn - 65 (42-14), Shakhtyor - 65 (51-19), Dinamo Brest - 48 (46-26), Torpedo-BelAZ - 48 (41-27), Neman - 46 (39-31), Vitebsk - 43 (34-34), Slutsk - 43 (30-34).

Before the start of the season Naftan was deprived of five points for debts, Isloch saw seven points taken away for match fixing.

In the final round on November 26 the following fixtures will be played (all games begin at 14.00): Neman - Shakhtyor, Vitebsk - Dinamo Mn, Gorodeya - BATE, Krumkachy - FC Minsk, Naftan - Isloch, Torpedo-BelAZ- Slavia, Gomel - Dinamo Brest, Dnepr - Slutsk.
