How USA team trains in Minsk ahead of Fed Cup final

The USA women's tennis team has come to Minsk to take part in the Federation Cup final against Belarus. The match will be held on 11-12 November at Chizhovka Arena.

Alison Riske was the first to come to the Belarusian capital, followed by team's No3 Shelby Rogers. They have already trained at Chizhovka Arena.

The USA leaders were the last to arrive - the first and second best players of the team - CoCo Vandeweghe and Sloane Stephens.

World No.10 CoCo Vandeweghe demonstrated an original approach to the training process: instead of a tennis court she went to a boxing gym.

The Federation Cup trophy has already been delivered to Minsk. It stood in the studio of the Belarus 1 TV Channel during a news program.

It took the players about 12 hours to get to Belarus. They say they had a lot of sleeping on board.

Belarus will be without Victoria Azarenka, who is in the USA in custody dispute with the father of her son.
