Belarusian's goal among the best of WC 2018 European Qualifiers

A goal scored by player of the Belarus national team Pavel Savitski against Bulgari (2:1) has been included into the top 10 most beautiful goals in the World Cup 2018 European Qualifiers. The collection of the best goals is published on the official website of UEFA (link in the video).

The 23-year-old leader of FC Neman Grodno got into the company of such masters as Emre Can, Axel Witsel, Olivier Giroud and others.

Belarus had one of the worst qualifying campaigns in 2016-2017 finishing their group behind underdogs Luxembourg.

During the campaign Belarus manager Alexander Khatskevich was replaced by Igor Kriushenko, but results have not improved. The victory against Bulgaria, in which Savitski scored the goal, was the only in the qualifying campaign. Among other successful results was the 0:0 draw against France at Borisov Arena in the opener.

It has been recently announced that Kriushenko has retained his post despite the bad performance of the team. He is tasked with winning the League of Nations group, otherwise his contract will be terminated, the Belarusian Football Federation said.
