Visa to support Darya Domracheva at 2018 Olympics

The famous Belarusian biathlete Darya Domracheva will be a member of the Visa Team at the 2018 Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Visa has been a global partner of the Olympic Games for more than 30 years now. What is more, it has been supporting the Paralympic Games since 2003. Some 18 years ago the company founded a special program, which helps talented sportsmen from all over the world. The program helps these athletes in their successful performances at the Olympic Games.

In order to get into the team, the sportsmen have to demonstrate their way to the Olympic and Paralympic Games, their sport achievements and their involvement into the social life of their country. Currently, the team unites more than 40 athletes from Australia, Belarus, Brazil, Canada, China, the Czech Republic, Korea, Japan, Mexico, Poland, Russia, the USA and Ukraine.

Darya has commented on her being member of the Visa Team.

“I am very happy to be part of the international Team Visa and to join first-class professionals. The preparations for Olympic Games involve many resources. I am sure that with the support of my fans, family, friends and Visa I will be trying to show maximum results at the 2018 Olympic Games in Pyeongchang”.

Team Visa has united more than 300 talented and skilled professionals. Their main values are a will to win, team spirit and participation in the society’s development.

Darya is the third Belarusian Olympic athlete in Team visa. In 2014 Visa supported freestylist Alxei Grishin and swimmer Aliaksnadra Herasimenia.
