New daily Minsk-Warsaw train: Price, schedule and other details

A new train will go from Minsk to Warsaw and back every day starting from December 2017. Passengers will only have to change trains in Brest, but the cost has significantly dropped to only 18 euros, Belarusian Railways says.

Unlike with Russian trains going from Moscow’s Belorusskaya Station to Warsaw (it will continue to go thrice a week), the cars of the new train will not be adjusted to a narrow gauge in Brest.

Now the passengers will make a transfer there, but the Belarusian Railways underlines that the process will be as comfortable as possible, and one will not even have to go to other platforms.

Thanks to the change of trains the fare has significantly decreased since travel costs to Brest will be calculated according to Belarus’ regional tariffs.

For comparison, a ticket in a compartment in a Russian train to Warsaw costs about 62 euros, while Belavia or LOT plane tickets are about 110 euros.

Departure from Minsk is every day at 10:57. Waiting time in Brest is less than 1 hour from 14:31 to 15:23 with customs control to be held during this time in the park Bug. It arrives in Warsaw at 17:29.

The train from Warsaw to Minsk departs at 08:44 and arrives in Minsk at 18:49.
