Brutto presents new music video Hodzie! (Enough!) based on Yanka Kupala poem

Brutto band presented the video for the song Enough (in Belarusian: Hodzie!) on October 31. The song is part of the last album Rocky. This song is based on poem of Yanka Kupala. The main protagonists of the video are Siarhei's son Makar and his wife Sviatlana Zeliankouskaya.

The video, directed by Dmitry Avdeev, was shot on a beach of Odessa.

Hodzie (Enough!) is our small, family-run "Ulysses."

Makar was born almost simultaneously with BRUTTO and some ideas and meanings of the band are personal to us, almost sacred.

We travel like pilgrims around the world, together with Zelia we have learned to hide our worries for Makar, for the rest of the children, for our future.

In the video, we tried to show that the atmosphere in which we were in the first years of BRUTTO. Now the major storms are behind and we believe that it is our children who give us the strength to go our own way, even in the darkest times," said Mikhalok commending on the new music video.

The clip uses the updated version of the Hodzie song, the new arrangement being authored by Ukrainian composer Roman Grigoriev, known for his work on the opera IYOV.

Let it not seem to you (Yanka Kupala, 1906)

Let it not seem to you
That the trouble will press you.
Know that bad times will pass
And the lightning will show your bright future.

Yes, the news are full of bad things
Stormy wind brings it to us,
And we cry in deep grief
Near our houses.

Mothers cry helplessly
About their children and future
So much I want to shout: 'Enough!
Enough tearing your heart apart!'

Let it not seem to you
That the trouble will press you.
Know that bad times will pass
And the lightning will show your bright future.
