Grabovski out for second consecutive NHL season?

The Belarusian ice hockey player Mikhail Grabovski will not play for Las Vegas in the NHL at least until the end of 2017.

Now Grabowski is in Toronto, where he trains according to an individual program. "There is time to give to the family.

Mikhail is preparing to become a father for the third time.

He will definitely not play until the New Year. Further, everything will depend on his health," Gravovski's father Yuri said.

According to Yuri Grabovski, if Mikhail "does not manage to play in the NHL this season he plans to prepare for the IIHF WM in Denmark together with the Belarus national team."

Grabovski moved from New York Islanders to Las Vegas in the off-season. The new league club chose the Belarusian, who still had a contract with the Islanders, in the Expansion Draft. Mikhail missed the 2016-2017 season in the NHL though a concussion received in February 2016.

Grabovsky has played in the NHL since 2006. He was previously contracted to Montreal, Toronto, Washington and Islanders.

The most productive Belarusian hockey player in the history of the NHL, he was named the best hockey player of Belarus several times.
