Belavia changes baggage allowance rules

Belavia has changed the luggage allowance rules. Economy class passengers can now take up to 23 kilograms instead of 20 with them for free. What is more, it should be one suitcase.

So, if an economy class passenger has two cases weighing 10 kilograms each, he will then have to pack all his things into one bag or pay a fee worth 50 euros for the second baggage place. If the luggage of economy class passenger weighs 24-32 kilos, he will then also have to pay 50 euros for the access weight. There is good news for business class passengers as well. They can take two bags weighing 32 kilos each into the luggage, and one bag weighing no more than 12 kg to the hand luggage, when economy class passengers are allowed to have no more than 8 kilograms in their hand luggage.

Children over two years old have exactly the same norm as adults do. A free place for luggage (weighing no more than 10 kilos) and a place for a foldable pram (or one mobile cradle or one car seat) is provided for children under two.

The new baggage arithmetic is the result of the luggage allowance rules with the air companies-partners of Belavia.
