Belarus President wants to improve handling of citizens' appeals

The Belarus President met with his political headquarters to discuss the work with citizens' appeals and increase the executive and labor discipline of civil servants. The meeting in this format is held at least once every two months.

The head of state already tasked the staff of the Presidential Administration to work out an acceptable formula for working with people.

Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus:
We need a normal form of work with the appeals of citizens. Everything has been going on since the Soviet times: someone wrote to the Presidential Administration or to the President, someone complains about local authorities, but we send these complaints and applications there for consideration. A flow of unnecessary information, we pay money for it, the mail carries these letters there and they send you back. We also use the expensive courier service. It's time to put an end to this. And I asked that concrete proposals be made here. Appeals of citizens. How will we work with these issues?

The head of state stressed that even the oral decisions that are made at such meetings must be fulfilled unconditionally. The voiced questions require an immediate reaction.
