Stable forecast: Standard & Poor’s agency increases Belarus’ long-term credit rating to level B

The international agency “Standard & Poor’s” increases the long-term sovereign credit rating of Belarus to level B, and at the same time preserving the stable forecast.

According to the angsts of the company, Belarus’ economy will grow by 2% in average in the nearest three years. The normalization of bilateral relations with Russia, improvement of economic figures of Belarus’ main trade partners contribute to the matter. It is necessary to mention that Belarus’ GDP IN January-August of the current year grew by 1.6%. According to the results of 2017, the government is expecting the growth of the GDP at the level of 1.7%.
