Belarus plans to increase trade with Novosibirsk region

Belarus expects a qualitatively new level in its relations with the Novosibirsk region of Russia. Details of cooperation on September 27 were discussed at a meeting between the Prime Minister of Belarus, Andrei Kobyakov, and the governor of the Russian region, Vladimir Gorodetsky.

Now the mutual turnover exceeds $200 million, but the parties are ready to increase it more than twice.

Belarus expects to increase the supply of machinery; there are prospects in the construction industry and the joint production of innovative products.

It is planned to resume a direct flight between Minsk and Novosibirsk in 2018.
