Eurasia.DOC cinema festival underway in Minsk

The second documentary film festival "Eurasia. DOC" is held in Minsk.

Directors from 10 countries presented their vision of social and political problems. The program includes 20 pictures.

The authors will hold meetings with the audience and master classes. Among other highlights are round tables with well-known experts who act as heroes of many of the festival films.

Vladimir Mamontov, chairman of the jury of the documentary film festival "Eurasia. DOC" (Russia):
There was a need for such films - to watch them, somehow evaluate and integrate them into public space. The last festival was interesting and this one should be even more interesting. We will develop it further.

Valery Shekhovtsov, director of the documentary film festival "Eurasia. DOC" (Russia):
Since we stated that we are accepting films from the political documentary film genre in the contest program, of course, these were very different problems. Problems associated with color revolutions. An Italian author will show his film: it is the whole "encyclopedia" of color revolutions.

The festival in Minsk cinemas will be held until September 29. A competition of short documentaries is held for the first time within the framework of the festival. Here young authors will present their works. They will be evaluated by an international jury.
