Ramzan Kadyrov meets with President Lukashenko

Belarus is offering the Chechen Republic to develop production cooperation. The subject of economic cooperation became central at the meeting of Alexander Lukashenko with Ramzan Kadyrov.

The head of the Chechen Republic arrived in Belarus with an official visit.

The two sides are working out the possible directions of cooperation. The Chechen Republic is a prospective partner in the North Caucasian Federal District for Belarus.

Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus:
The key theme is cooperation, the most advanced, mutually beneficial form of cooperation, within which it will be possible to satisfy the needs of the regional market and create high-tech working places.

I support you very much, well done that you are orientated and high technologies-they are tomorrow. If you would have focused on the present, you would be behind in one year or two, however, you hit at very serious projects, and we are ready to participate and find our place in them. I know that you are establishing a production line of domestic cars.

Belarus has plants which have experience of cooperation with Russia, Auto Components, for instance. We can cooperate with you. Of course you can buy these auto components, frankly speaking, in any country and you can agree with any businessman. However, we guarantee not only good quality and price, but serious obligations as well. The state is responsible for such things in Belarus. The issue of a reliable partner is very important for us.

We have no problems with you because the Chechen state structures have strong power; you have a strong influence on all the sectors.

It’s the same in Belarus, therefore you should have no doubts, if you cooperate with Belarusian companies or plants, that they will cheat on you somehow, It cannot happen. This IS also very important in such an uneasy time.

Ramzan Kadyrov, Head of the Chechen Republic of the Russian Federation:
Thank you, dear Alexander Grigorievich. First of all I would like to thank you for inviting us to Belarus. I can say that I had a dream to meet with you in person, because all these years, as you have just said we felt support and still feel the support.

You are very much so respected in the Caucasus and loved for your univocal position.

You are loved for building the state and defending the interests of your country and people on the highest of levels.

The prospects of cooperation in the agricultural and tourism sectors were also discussed at the meeting. Special attention was paid to the production of passenger and communal machinery and the possibilities of setting up production lines in the Chechen Republic.

Before the official part of the visit, the Chechen delegation paid tribute to the memory of the Great Patriotic War heroes. Flowers and wreaths were laid to the Eternal Flame and the Victory Monument in Minsk.
