Ministries of internal affairs of Belarus and Serbia discuss interaction

The law enforcement structures of Belarus and Serbia intend to establish more active cooperation.

A meeting of the Ministers of Internal Affairs of the two countries was held in Minsk. The sides discussed fighting terrorism, cybercrime and drug trafficking. It is these directions that the parties consider the most promising in joint work.

In addition, contacts have been established between Belarusian "Almaz" special forces and the special antiterrorist unit of Serbia.

Igor Shunevich, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus:
This meeting was a logical continuation of the visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to Serbia. At these talks, we once again confirmed our intention to work closely with the Serbian police and the Ministry of Internal Affairs very closely and professionally.

According to law enforcers, cooperation will strengthen the security of both countries and make counteraction to common threats more effective.
