Belarusian, Russian military equipment returning to permanent deployments

After the strategic West 2017 drills, personnel, military and specialized equipment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus are continuing to return to their permanent dislocation points.

Brest troopers are returning home on September 24.

The air-assault brigade No. 38 drilled military tasks at the range Losvido, which is near Vitebsk. More than 200 military men and dozens of combat vehicles. Loading of equipment on to the echelon is the final stage.

Valentin Popelnukhin, deputy battalion commander on ideological work of the air-assault brigade No. 38:
At the moment we are loading the equipment onto railway transport for departure to permanent dislocation points- to Brest. The drills for us will end only then, when the last soldier, the last machine gun will be returned to the gun room and will return to the unit.

Meanwhile, Russian soldiers are returning home after West 2017 military drills. The military units of the Russian Federation will leave Belarus before the end of September.
