Council of Ministers discusses readiness for heating season

More than 80% of consumers have already received certificates of readiness for the autumn-winter working period, and the modernization of boiler houses must be finished in 2017.

The process of getting ready for the heating season was discussed in the Council of Ministers on September 19, 2017. At the beginning of the year there were 14 boiling houses with an exceeded level of fuel and energy usage. The modernization is planned to be finished in the next few months, however, one problematic facility remains in the Mogilev region.

Andrei Kobyakov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus:
Everyone knows what claims to quality and timeliness of the preparation works. It is a key to a solid, continuous functioning of the economy and provision of comfortable living conditions Today we have better results if to compare with the analogue period of the last year. For instance, by September 14 80.2% of consumers received certificates of readiness. One year ago this figure was 71.2%. As many as 76.5 % of boiler houses are ready, when one year ago there were 62.5% of them ready.
