Nikolai Lukashenko brings 6 tons of watermelons to residents of care home for pensioners and disabled

The “President’s field” has a good harvest of watermelons this year.

Despite the surprises of weather, the berries are a success-they are ripe and sweet. Nikolai Lukashenko, the son of President Lukashenko, treated the residents of a care home to the harvest.

Boys and girls are always welcome here. They help at subbotniks (days of volunteer work), together they celebrate events here. Every visit of theirs is a real celebration for the residents of this care home. Today they have brought 6 tons of watermelons for them. Some of them were unloaded straight away, so that the residents could try them.

The school students and the residents of the home had some tea in a truly warm atmosphere. They took some cakes with them as well. The most important was discussed at the table, as close people do: hobbies, success in studies. The school students shared their impressions on their summer holidays. After some rest the children unloaded the other half of the watermelons.
