Belarus, Russia premiers discuss cooperation over the phone

Topical issues of bilateral cooperation and work in the integration format were discussed on September 14 by telephone by the heads of the governments of Belarus and Russia.

Andrei Kobyakov and Dmitry Medvedev also agreed to hold a regular meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Belarus-Russia Union State. The exact timeframe has not yet been determined. A preliminary meeting is scheduled for November-December.

The Belarusian side is ready to develop relations with a view to enhancing the economic potential of the two countries," Belarus premier Andrei Kobyakov stressed. Andrei Kobyakov also congratulated the Russian counterpart on his birthday.
