10 agreements signed during Belarusian-Indian business forum

The Government of Belarus promises support for joint projects with India. During the main part of the business forum, the partners concluded 10 agreements: in healthcare, tourism, agriculture, and mining.

In 2016, the bilateral trade amounted to about $400 million.

This is far from the figure that countries count on, since the potential is much greater. Now the parties are working to achieve a turnover of $1 billion in the near future.

Vladimir Ulakhovich, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry:
There was a very practical approach to organizing this forum: so that the results are applied. Therefore, the basis of the talks was engineering, petrochemicals, and light industry. And also new topics, such as logistics, transportation and pharmaceutics, where we had a serious advancement. Therefore, the list of such perfectly applied industries was the basis of the business forum.

Belarus President will begin the official visit to India September 11
