II International Medical Forum underway in Minsk

The International Minsk Medical Forum gathered more than 1,500 leading scientists and doctors from Belarus, Russia, Japan, Sweden, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Austria, Germany and Italy

Before the forum, Belarusian manufacturers of medicines and medical equipment presented their novelties.

Sergei Malyshko, chairman of the Health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee:
We have developed joint projects in the field of transplantology and surgery. In principle, these are health-saving technologies aimed at a healthy lifestyle. Together we are considering "thrifty polyclinic" and "smart polyclinic" concepts.

Dmitry Shevtsov, deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, chairman of the Belarusian Association of Physicians:
We have 16 national medical centers. This is the fourth level of medical care, they are recognized as one of the best in the world. Each industry has moved very far, and we have something to boast in a good sense. We have something to show our foreign partners.

Within the framework of the event, the specialists share experience in cardiology, surgery, transplantology, obstetrics and pediatrics.

Doctors are also expected to conduct master classes in Minsk hospitals.
