New logo and squad changes: Tsmoki Minsk preparing for new basketball season

A colorful presentation of the basketball club Tsmoki-Minsk in a cozy atmosphere was held on September 6 before the start of the new season. The new logo of The Dragons was presented to the audience, as well as designer jerseys.

On the stage were updated squads of the youth, women's and men's senior and reserve teams. The most noticeable changes took place in the main men's team which, with an eye on the European Cups and the VTB League, signed a number of new foreign players.

Nikita Meshcheryakov, player of BC Tsmoki-Minsk:
Summer was not in vain, with the team trained hard, received a lot of trust, a lot of playing time, so it will bear fruit. Already in the starting matches we plan that both me and all other Belarusians will show themselves and help the team.

The reserve team of Rostislav Vergun was specially created on the eve of the new season for participation in the championship of Belarus and the Baltic League. Every basketball player of the reserve men's team will always have the opportunity to strengthen the core team of Tsmoki-Minsk coached by Alexander Krutikov. The coach for now finds it hard to assess the emotional and physical fitness of the club.

Alexander Krutikov, head coach of BC Tsmoki-Minsk:
The guys who were in the national team trained for a month and a half. Psychologically, functionally, and maybe even emotionally, they are tired. It's clear that it's hard for them. They accomplished their task. Here, we bet more on foreigners, who at the moment have not yet completed this stage of pre-competition preparation, but we start already on September 19.
