Georgian Foreign Minister to arrive in Minsk September 4

The Georgian Foreign Minister begins his official visit to Minsk on September 4. Mikheil Janelidze will hold a number of high-level meetings, including with the government, the National Assembly and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

The main points on the agenda are bilateral cooperation, parliamentary ties, joint projects and, of course, the intensification of economic interaction.

Compared with 2016, trade turnover between Belarus and Georgia has increased by almost a third. This is largely thanks to the agreements between the leaders of Belarus and Georgia. The Presidents met this spring in Minsk. The official visit of Alexander Lukashenko to Tbilisi took place two years earlier.
