Brest Meshkov goes down to Tatran SEHA League round 1

Handball players of Brest's BGK named after Meshkov played the first official match of the new SEHA League season. In the starting round the club from the banks of the Bug River met with the Slovak Super Liga side Tatran from Prešov.

None of the teams during the regular time could get a solid lead, and a draw would be the most fair result, perhaps. But in the last minute, the hosts scored the winning goal, and BGK could not reply - 24:23 in favor of Tatran.

A pleasant aspect is that BGK newcomer - Russian international Konstantin Igropulo – was quite efficient scoring five goals.

Next, Brest Meshkov will hold two away matches in the SEHA League. September 6 Sergey Bebeshko's club will play with Slovenian Celje. On September 8, Brest Meshkov take on the current champion of the tournament Macedonian Vardar.
