Deputy PM of Belarus meets with vice-marshal of Poland's Sejm

Strengthen the political dialogue and find common ground for the business community: on August 30, Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Rusyi met with Deputy Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Ryszard Terlecki.

The sides discussed new joint projects. Today Poland came in fourth place in terms of investment in Belarus. About 350 companies with Polish capital are successfully working in Belarus.

Mikhail Rusyi, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus:
Our meetings are aimed at the most important thing: expansion of economic interaction and creation of good conditions for the life of both peoples. A significant role in this process (besides the government) belongs to parliamentary activity. These are people who realize the aspirations of the people in legislative acts, create conditions for our sustainable relations and for the economy as a whole.

The countries plan to increase the turnover. In recent years, it has been growing, but so far it has reached only $2 billion. As noted by the Belarus government, the fulfillment of this goal will help create new jobs, increase salaries and replenish the budgets of both countries.
