Belarusian electric buses may appear in St. Petersburg, Moscow and Yekaterinburg

Belarus will expand the supply of electric buses to Russia. The Belarus-made urban machinery may appear in St. Petersburg, Moscow and Yekaterinburg.

In the Russian capital, the electric bus has already undergone the necessary tests.

Among the main advantages of the model is environmental friendliness, maneuverability and increased comfort. Electric bus, like a trolleybus, operates on electricity, however, it needs about 15% less energy than conventional transport. The salon has places for a wheelchair with locking and driver warning systems, as well as sockets and USB connectors for charging gadgets.

The e-bus can accommodate more than 150 people.

Such models are already used in Minsk. In total, 20 such innovative vehicles run in the Belarusian capital.
