Where will European Games 2019 athletes live in Minsk?

Andrei Pateyev, first deputy head of sports and tourism department of the Minsk City Executive Committee, has given an interview to the TV program Big City. He told us where the participants of the 2019 European Games will live in the Belarusian capital.

Andrei Pateyev, first deputy head of sports and tourism department of the Minsk City Executive Committee:
In principle, a place where the athletes will live has already been determined. About 6,000 participants plan to take part in these Games. These are athletes - about 4,000 and coaches, masseurs, journalists and so on.

They all will live in the Student Village in the southwest of Minsk.

There are 7 dormitories ready and waiting, they only need some cosmetic repairs to accommodate athletes and representatives of delegations. Two more dormitories will be built. The athletes will eat there too.

There are certain requirements for canteens and the territory where athletes live. This area should be fenced and safety rules must be observed.

This will be strictly monitored by representatives of the European Olympic Committee.

I think that Minsk will adequately cope with the tasks set and will hold the Games at a high level.
