One third of fields left to be harvested in Vitebsk region

The orange level of danger has been announced in Belarus for August 23. Heavy rains and strong winds up to 22 meters per second is a discouraging forecast for the agrarians.

The harvesting campaign has practically finished in Belarus; however, the north of the country (the Vitebsk region) is waiting for every fine day.

The Vitebsk region has one third of fields left to clear. The harvest here is not bad; the grain yield is five hundred kilograms per hectare more than in 2016. At the moment Belarusian agrarians have harvested over 7 million tons of grain.

The state order of grain supply has been fulfilled more than by 85%.
