Maneuvers of Belarus-Russia supply services underway in Belarus ahead of West 2017 drills

More than 2,500 servicemen and about 500 units of equipment. Maneuvers of rear services are underway in Belarus ahead of the Belarusian-Russian drills West 2017.

The firing range Borisovsky and firing ranges in the Minsk, Vitebsk and Mogilev regions are the sites where the rear services drills are held on 22 August.

Providing logistics and optimum interaction in joint actions - this is a goal of the exercise for both the Belarusian and the Russian side.

The drills themselves begin on 14 September. By this time, the Belarusian and Russian military will work out the covering of various objects on road sections. Broken armament is being repaired and a field pipeline is being deployed for mass refueling.
