Cosmonaut Novitsky presents belongings to Museum of Modern Belarusian Statehood

From space to earth. New exhibits appeared in the Museum of Modern Belarusian Statehood on August 19, 2017.

Cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky presented a pilot’s seat, which was especially made for him, to the museum. During the flight it provided maximum safety for him. What is more, the museum has a national Kazakh costume, which was presented to Novitsky, when he landed in Baikonur.

Oleg Novitsky, cosmonaut:
We put this costume on for the liquids in the organism to spread evenly and so that a cosmonaut feels comfortable.

The emotions are overwhelming. I am very happy, that the pilots are flying, the equipment is working. It is great when a person dedicates himself to his profession.

The famous Belarus-born cosmonaut became a guest of the celebration in honor of the Day of the Military Air Forces.

Here he spoke about life on the orbit and new space plans.
