Kobyakov: Belarus ready to offer Sverdlovsk construction equipment

Belarus counts on expanding industrial cooperation with the Sverdlovsk region, said the Belarus Prime Minister at a meeting with the acting governor of this region of Russia.

Andrei Kobyakov and Evgeny Kuyvashev discussed bilateral cooperation. The basic directions are trade, housing and communal services, science and education. Belarus is ready to use Russian launch systems in engineering. In turn, Minsk offers advanced technologies for the production and processing of agricultural products, as well as machinery for agriculture.

Andrei Kobyakov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus:
We have a good potential for developing trade cooperation. Today Belarus is ready to offer the Sverdlovsk region modern road, construction, and communal equipment. In recent years, we have developed its production, focusing primarily on the needs of the Russian market.

Evgeny Kuyvashev, Acting Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region of the Russian Federation:
In 2016, it was 15 years since the signing of the cooperation agreement between the Republic of Belarus and the Sverdlovsk region. We have become great partners, associates and we are strengthening ties in the economy and the humanitarian sphere. We have already implemented a sufficient number of projects.

The Sverdlovsk region and Belarus have the potential for growth of mutual trade turnover. Now it is more than $250 million. There are plans to double this figure.
