On August 15, 2017, attention was dedicated to the industrial potential of Belarus. The schedule is very busy. From the airplane seat Abdullah Abdullah found himself sitting in the biggest Belarus tractor.

The platform near the entrance of MTZ is full of such energy intensive and modern machinery. However, the Afghan delegation stops near the simplest of the models. This is the most famous Belarus tractor in Afghanistan.

Belarusian tractors entered the Afghan market in the middle of the previous century. Today this 510 model is the main piece of machinery for the Afghan farmers. Taking into consideration the fact that swards are remade into plows and these modern MTZ tractors will have plenty of work to do.

The Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan helped the MTZ plant find partners in this central Asian country. As many as three plants work with MTZ now. Despite the fact that the country is distant, the markets there are predictable.

Yuri Pototurko, MTZ Acting Deputy Director General on marketing:
MTZ has been successfully working on a pre-paid basis with the Afghan partners for three years now. Last year we had 470 tractors. This year we are planning to sell 525.

According to the results of 2016, the commodity circulation between Belarus and Afghanistan summed up to more than 25 million dollars, which is 60% more than in 2015.

Javid Faisal, Spokesperson to the Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan:
We are to sign two documents on activation of industrial cooperation and simplification of visa regime. In my opinion it will contribute to business communication.

The surrounding of Abdullah Abdullah said that the Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is a person of action rather than word. He is to speak to the Belarusian press.
