Andrei Kobyakov about creating effective system against shady schemes of customs and tax payments

The volume of trade of the EEU countries increased by one quarter from the beginning of the year. Prime Ministers of Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia discussed economic growth and its further development on August 14, 2017.

The Eurasian Intergovernmental Council was held in Astana. Projects connected with creating a joint cyberspace in the EEU were discussed. It will make the trading schemes between the countries more transparent.

Andrei Kobyakov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus:
We have discussed a drat convention on the mechanism of product traceability. We need an effective system against shady schemes of customs and tax payments, which will not allow involving products into illegal circulation. The Republic of Belarus is ready to fulfill all the undertaken obligations and expects such a symmetric approach from the other parties. Today we have agreed that the convention will reflect consistent performance on a mutual basis.

Social issues, connected with the guarantees and pension provision were touched upon as well. A package of documents, which will allow working in any of the EEU countries without losing employment service and pension, is being developed. The Prime Ministers agreed on holding another meeting in such a format. The next Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will be held in the capital of Armenia in October.
