Belarusian farmers crop nearly 4 million tons of grain

Belarusian farmers are approaching the mark of 4 million tons of grain. This is half of the total estimated Belarusian harvest in 2017, excluding corn.

Each region of the country continues harvesting. The Brest region was the first to procure one million tons of grain. Minsk region is in second place now. Here farmers have already reached the final stage of harvesting: more than 800 tons of grain have been cropped.

In total, about 400,000 people are involved in the harvesting campaign in Belarus. All processes are mechanized.

More than 9,000 combine harvesters work on the fields. About 12,000 vehicles ensure the delivery of grain from the field to dryers.
