Belarus reaches semi-finals of Tank Biathlon

Another success of Belarus in the international military games: our team has advanced to the semifinals of Tank Biathlon.

In total, this stage of the competition features the top 12 teams selected according to the results of individual races. Finalists will be determined after the Relay event on August 9 at the Russian Alabino firing range. Belarusians will compete in the group against the teams from Armenia, Kazakhstan and Mongolia. The Belarusian crew will get the blue tank, according to the draw.

Military competitions were also held in the Astrakhan region, Russia. At the Ashuluk firing range, the Belarusian military came in second in the International competition of antiaircraft missile armies Keys to Heaven.

Our Belarusian teams put up a very worthy performance. In the category Driving Combat Vehicles our mechanic-driver won first place. We worked under difficult conditions: the temperature was 40-42 degrees and even higher inside combat vehicles. The targets were complex.

Taking part in the tournament were teams from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and China. Each team was presented by a combat crew of 17 people.

The ARMY 2017 games brought together more than 4,000 soldiers from 28 countries. Partaking in the competitions are 150 teams.
