BATE to take on Ukraine's Oleksandriya in Europa League qualification playoff

Ukrainian Oleksandriya will take on FC BATE Borisov in the fight for entering the group stage of UEFA Europa League. This is the result of the draw held on August 4 at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

BATE play the first leg at home on August 17 at Borisov Arena, while the return match will take place on August 24 in Ukraine.

BATE started this European Cup season in the Champions League. In the 2nd qualifying round, the Borisov team won against Yerevan's Alaskert 1:1 (at home) and 3:1 (away), and in the third round lost to Slavia Prague on away goals 0:1 (away) and 2:1 (at home) and now will compete for getting into the group stage of the Europa League.

Russian Krasnodar with the Belarusian defender Alexander Martynovich will meet with the Belgrade club Crvena Zvezda.

Israeli Maccabi from Tel Aviv, for which another Belarusian defender Yegor Filipenko is contracted, will play against Austrian Altach, who knocked Dinamo Brest out of the tournament.

Dinamo Kyiv under Belarusian manager Alexander Khatskevich will take on Portuguese Maritimo.
