PRC marks 90th anniversary of People's Liberation Army: Alexander Lukashenko sends congratulations

August 1 China celebrates the 90th anniversary of the People's Liberation Army. At the solemn meeting dedicated to the anniversary Chinese leader Xi Jinping stressed that the PRC will never compromise on sovereignty, security and interests of the country's development.

China has recently hosted a military parade involving 12,000 troops and hundreds of pieces of equipment. Almost half of the presented weapons were shown for the first time.

President Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the Chairman of the People's Republic of China on the 90th anniversary of the creation of the People's Liberation Army of China.

The Belarusian leader stressed that "the interaction of Belarus and China in the military and technical fields is a model of mutually beneficial cooperation, which is of a fully confidential and strategic nature.

The President also expressed confidence that the reorganization and modernization of the army under the leadership of Xi Jinping will increase the degree of its readiness to respond to the potential threats to stability and security," the message reads.
