Poland to continue cutting down Belovezhskaya Pushcha trees despite EU court position

Poland will continue work on cutting down trees in the Belovezhskaya Pushcha, despite the preliminary decision of the Court of Justice of the European Union.

The country says they are fighting the invasion of the bark beetle.

However, experts and environmentalists completely disagree with this practice. According to them, nature itself will cope with the renewal of the forest. The EU Court will take a final decision on this issue on August 4.
