Berglind Asgeirsdottir on Iceland's tourist attractiveness

Berglind Asgeirsdottir, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Iceland to the Republic of Belarus, has given an interview to the TV program Simple Questions with Yegor Khrustalev.

Belarusians consider Iceland to be a mystical country. There are many mysteries about it. What, in your opinion, will surprise Belarusians in Iceland? What will be amazing and, at the same time, stunning?

Berglind Asgeirsdottir, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Iceland to the Republic of Belarus:
The first thing that comes to mind, if you go by car on the road from the airport to the capital is: "Are we on the moon?". I heard such comments from one Belarusian lady, who visited Iceland.

She was surprised that there were no trees around and the earth was exposed. And then mountains begin: glaciers, mountain peaks and volcanoes.

Ambassador of Iceland thanks Belarusian businessman Alexander Moshensky
