Legends of the Renaissance era. An exhibition dedicated to Francysk Skaryna and Martin Luther opened in Minsk.

Most of the works concern the German reformer. Among the works are lithography about his life and work, which demonstrate the Renaissance era as a whole. What is more, copies of 95 thesis , which were on the doors of the Castle Church in Wittenberg are presented.

Works of Alla Gubarevich are presented at the exhibition as well. Gobelins done in an author technique, they tell the story of Francysk Skaryna’s life. By the way, they can be used as items of the interior.

Olga Shtokman, director of the public union of German culture “Bridges”:
I am very happy that neither Francysk Skaryna nor Martin Luther are forgotten in 500 years. They are still remembered. It means that they were truly useful for their century, and the other generations.

He brought Belarus up to a new level. Thanks to his works and efforts Belarus managed to integrate into the European and world cultures. It became a cultural power.
