Belarus, Germany, China to acquire Starobin potash reserves

The largest corporations signed an agreement.

It is a successful example of state-private partnership.

The investments into the project are estimated at 2 billion dollars.

It will be the second potash mining and producing plant in Belarus.

Mikhail Gutseriev, chairman of IOOO Slavkali:
We are not going to compete with Belkali. It is exactly the same plant.

We will sell through BKK only, in order not to compete, hold the price and cooperate.

The products of the company will certainly be in demand in the market.

The plant capacity will sum up to two million tons per year.
