Independence Day 2017 event program in Minsk

On July 3, festive events will be held throughout Belarus. Traditionally the main celebrations will take place in the Belarusian capital.

The military parade took place at 10.00 at the stela "Minsk - Hero City". Right after that the mass campaign "Be Beautiful, Belarus!" was held, with more than 2,000 people taking part. Festivities will unfold in front of the Sports Palace, in the main parks of Minsk, and of course in the main tourist spot - Upper Town.

The parade featured the novelties of the Belarusian military industry, and the machinery of the Great Patriotic War. A total of several hundred pieces of equipment were involved. By the way, tanks and armored cars did not leave the avenues after the parade. They will be freely available for spectators. The military parade will be broadcast by all national TV channels of Belarus, with the TV version to be aired in the evening.

In the Upper Town, there will be held large-scale historical re-enactments. The site near the Sports Palace will bring together athletes from Belarus, Ukraine, Lithuania and Russia, who will take part in power extreme competitions.

In 2017, the organizers tried to please the tastes of all guests. A fair will open near the Palace of Sports, which will take up an area of ​​13,000m2. Kebabs, pancakes and sausages will be offered to everyone at affordable prices.

The area of ​​the fair will be 13,000 square meters. About 500 sales personnel are involved. Cafes, restaurants, and retail facilities will present their products here.

The festivities will end with a big festive fireworks display. The first volleys will be heard in the sky over Minsk at 23:00 Belarusian time. Fireworks will be fired from six points so that they can be seen from any part of Minsk. 30 volleys will be launched in honor of Independence Day.

In total, more than 40 events are planned in Minsk. They will be held not only in the center of the city, but also in every district of the capital. These are mainly concerts, sports competitions, and creative meetings.
