Alexander Lukashenko meets with heads of major Russian media

On June 29, Alexander Lukashenko met with the leaders of the largest Russian media. It took place in one of the oldest news agencies - TASS.

After a short tour of the media holding company, the head of state took part in the meeting of the Club of Editors-in-Chief. The conversation took place in a very warm atmosphere and lasted about three hours. Alexander Lukashenko is personally acquainted with many who came to this meeting. In particular, the Belarusian leader has already been interviewed by famous journalist Mikhail Gusman several times.

The participants of the discussion had time to talk over the widest range of issues. The head of state was asked about the most pressing events on the international agenda and the assessment of the events taking place in the region. Questions were raised about cooperation with China and relations with the West. But the main topic of the meeting were the Belarusian-Russian relations. The President described in detail how bilateral relations between the countries are developing in the socio-political and trade-economic plans and also disclosed his expectations from the upcoming session of the Supreme State Council of the Belarus-Russia Union State.
