2017 Independence Day parade to feature modern armored vehicles and legendary T34

In the evening yesterday, Minskers could see with their own eyes the military equipment right in the center of the city. This was the dress rehearsal for the Independence Day parade.

The column followed from Uruchye, near the Academy of Sciences and along Surganova Street. Motorists had to make room for them, with the city center being closed up to 8pm.

Taking part in the parade will be the novelties of the Belarusian military industry like the armored vehicles Caiman and Volat as well as old tanks T34.

Around 220 units of equipment are involved in the parade.

Taking part in the July 3 parade for the first time will be territorial defense forces and representatives of all mechanized brigades. The column will be almost three kilometers long.
