Ransomware detected on several PCs in Belarus

Individual cases of infection of computers with a ransomware have been recorded in Belarus. The virtual attack blocks computers and the owner is offered to pay about $300 to decrypt the files.

To a greater or lesser extent, the cyberattack has affected the whole world. The first ten victims included Ukraine, Italy, Israel, Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany and Russia.

After a massive world cyberattack, the US and Israel are setting up a working group to prevent such threats. It is also necessary to determine how to bring to justice those responsible.

On June 27, ransomware occupied oil, telecommunications and financial companies of many countries.
