Belarus to supply 400 MAZ trucks to Vietnam

Belarus' MAZ will supply 400 vehicles to Vietnam, and by the end of 2017 plans to establish a facility to jointly produce trucks.

On June 28 this project is discussed in Minsk after the Vietnamese businessmen had visited the MAZ enterprise. They are members of the delegation from Hanoi, who arrived in Belarus on June 27 together with the Vietnamese President.

Dmitry Katerinich, Director General of OAO MAZ:
We are planning that the joint venture will start operating in September. The construction of this plant is already underway, infrastructure is being made, the buildings are being built, and equipment is being procured and manufactured.

Yesterday at the Belarusian-Vietnamese forum we signed a contract for the supply of 200 units of fully assembled equipment and 200 sets.
