Belarus President takes part in Republican Ball of Graduates

Let's start with positive news. On Friday evening, the Republican ball of graduates was held in Minsk, pleasing with its atmosphere and beautiful faces. President Lukashenko congratulated the most talented and successful graduates. Our correspondent Yulia Beshanova learned about the dreams and ambitions of the new generation, in a solemn and informal atmosphere.

Vyacheslav Murashko fell in love with algebra back in the eighth grade. In the eleventh he won the award of the American Mathematical Society. Now the scientist is working on several tasks: he has received grants from the Ministry of Education and the Belarusian Foundation for Basic Research.

He plans to defend his doctoral dissertation before he is 30, which will make him one of the youngest professors of the country.

Vyacheslav Murashko, a graduate of Gomel State University named after F. Skaryna:
One of great persons ones said: "I saw the best of all, because I stood on the shoulders of giants." Just to give you an example: the work we wrote served as an idea for writing work in England.

Alexander Sakuta, a graduate of Baranovichi State University:
It is very exciting event, because it is a kind of result of my studies, scientific and creative activity .And a kind of transition from student life to adulthood. It is a great honor for me to be here. This means that everything I did during these four years was right.

Alesya Ambrazhei, a graduate of Baranovichi State University:
The pro-rector called and said: "Alesya, I have good news for you. You were invited to the Republic Ball of Graduates." I did not believe it. At first it was hard to believe. I had to pack up and go quickly. And here I am today! I will work as a teacher of English and computer science in the Kletsk district, which I look forward to.

Ilya Shpak, a graduate of the Belarusian State Technological University:
I developed unique harvesters, I will introduce them at the Malorita Forest Farm.

Belarus places emphasis on the development of the youth and offers the most talented persons social guarantees, support and guaranteed first job placement. By the way, first mandatory job placements were granted this year to 25,649 people. Such people are called young specialists - and today it is a reason for pride.

Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus:
It is with you, educated and energetic, with whom we connect the hopes for the dynamic development of all spheres of life of the Belarusian society. Tomorrow you will come to work at enterprises of industry, agriculture, to schools, medical centers, design bureaus and scientific laboratories to show your talents in art and culture. Perhaps someone will open their business, become a successful entrepreneur. All conditions have been created for everyone to realize their abilities. Do not doubt - it will be that. But remember: basically everything will depend only on you.

Youth is one of the main priorities of state policy, so do not be afraid of difficult tasks, set the most ambitious goals and implement them! Setting goals is half the battle. The right goal is very important. And remember: Belarus needs you, because this is your home. We expect that you will use all your strength and diligence and we will always help and support you.

Several students received personal thanks from the head of state. Among them is Maria Marchuk. She was delegate of the 5th All-Belarusian People's Assembly, the country's best student of 2015 and tomorrow she will be at the board of honors at her university.

Maria Marchuk, a graduate of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics:
I have quite ambitious plans. I would very much like to finish my master's program at my university and teach there. I hope that I will become a worthy teacher. I think, in working with students, I will instill in them social activity, so that they are not indifferent to what happens next to them.

Among other participants of the ball were laureates of the Presidential Special Funds, as well as winners of regional, national and international scientific Olympiads.

Valery Doroshko, a graduate of the Military Academy of the Republic of Belarus:
The soldier who does not dream of becoming a general is a bad soldier. All graduates are eager to become generals, everyone wants to achieve great heights.

For each country, talented young people are like gold reserves. Belarus can be proud of the fact that the intellectual elite is not running out. Alexander Lukashenko invited all the graduates to the informal part of the holiday.

Any final is sure a start of something new. Graduates are sure that if adult life begins with a reception in the Palace of Independence, there should be no false start.
