Belarusian, Hungarian MFAs sign cooperation agreement

The relations between Belarus and the European Union were discussed on June 22 at the meeting of Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei and the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Hungary.

During the talks Péter Szijjártó stressed that Hungary stands for a fair approach of the EU to Belarus. In particular, the minister stressed that the main thing now is to develop mutually beneficial cooperation between the European Union and Belarus.

Vladimir Makei, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus:
Despite this year the trade and economic relations between Belarus and Hungary are developing more intensively, we still admit that the potential of our trade and economic cooperation is far from exhausted.

We agreed to focus in the near future on two or three specific areas of cooperation, which have a great impact and will become truly unique stories of success.
