Photo exhibition on Raimonds Pauls works opens at Mikhail Savitsky Art Gallery

Photos associated with Vernisāža and other famous songs of prominent Lavtivan composer Raimonds Pauls are on display in Minsk's Mikhail Savitsky Art Gallery.

The exhibition, opened on June 20, features emotions inspired by summer rain, autumn leaves, evening walk and other simple things in life about which Pauls wrote his songs.

The audience can also see rare records of the 1970-1990s with musical compositions of the maestro from the collections of the Museum of History of Minsk.

Galina Ladisova, director of the Museum of the History of Minsk:
We can endlessly talk about the talent of Mr Pauls, with great pleasure. I think that the Minsk audience is equally interested in seeing this project.

Martins Virsis, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Latvia to the Republic of Belarus:
I'm glad to be here, I'm glad that we support this project. The name of Raimonds Pauls is familiar here and does not need any additional comments.

You can also enjoy the wonderful music of the maestro at the exhibition.
