Belarus knocked out of Women's Eurobasket 2017 after Turkey defeat

The Belarusian women's basketball team have lost the third match in a row at the Eurobasket in the Czech Republic and are knocked out of the tournament.

Belarus lost their matches against Italy (60–80) and Slovakia (59–68) and desperately needed a win against Turkey.

However, on June 19 Natalia Trofimova's Belarus also came empty-handed (74–88).

Turkey progresses to the playoffs from first place in Group B, while the Belarusians return to Minsk having shown the worst result in the European championships over the last decade.
