Belarus to export ice-cream to China

Belarusian ice-cream in China’s shops. The sweet delicacy will be exported to China by Belarus’ plant “Santa Bremor” for the first time.

The first lot will be exported as early as July of 2017.

The choice of ice-cream is wide, more than 50 kinds of the dessert- eskimo, fruit lollies, multilayer rolls.

The first container of Belarusian ice-cream will be exported to China this July.

According to our plans agreements, as many as 300 tonnes of ice-cream will be exported to China by the end of 2017.

Olesia Yelina, head of marketing department at Santa Bremor Ltd.:
At the moent we have a project which is called “Belaovezhskaya skazka”. We produce it for the Russian market, where there is a clear understanding of the products’ specification, which is necessary for the market at the moment. A certain kind of the product – a cone, vanilla ice-cream with a certain flavouring, the price was set.

The plant wins foreign tastes as well. Belarusian ice-cream was tired out in Canada in 2017, it is loved in Israel and Georgia as well.

However, only 10% of the produced product is exported.

Belarusians remain the main consumers of the popular dessert.
